Granny flat arrangements are becoming increasingly common with parents advancing money to children to construct a granny flat in which the parents are to live. Such arrangements can work very well but can also be fraught with difficulties if there is breakdown in relationships. Discuss with us the family arrangement that is intended to be made and any issues to be considered with the contract and we will provide you advice based on your account of the events. If you are agreeable with our advice or approach to any issues we will then construct a time frame and an estimate of costs to draft and settle a Granny Flat Agreement.
