WELCOME TO SOUTHERN LEGAL

Southern Legal is an incorporated law firm servicing the Southern Highlands, Southern Tablelands. Campbelltown and Wollongong, New South Wales. We focus on achieving results for our clients and our fees are reasonable. We are able to represent our clients in the Courts of New South Wales, including the Administrative Decisions Tribunal, and also the Federal Courts of Australia.

Southern Legal is committed to a culture of continual improvement and we are working towards accreditation under ISO 9000. Feedback from clients is always welcome.

If you want more information about a specific legal matter please visit our Home page and click on the Help Centre button. We are available from 9.00am to 5.00pm AEST Monday to Friday. Australian Eastern Standard Time is GM + 10 hrs. When we are not available for live help you can leave a message and one of our associates will contact you at the earliest opportunity.

Southern Legal has been serving the communities of the Southern Highlands. Southern Tablelands, Campbelltown and Wollongong Districts since 2007. The key personnel have been working in local law firms for many years prior to that.

At Southern Legal we offer information, advice and our professional services to private clients and also accept instructions from Legal Aid recipients in Children’s Care and Protection matters. Our fees are reasonable and within the range of average fees charged by legal practitioners. Wherever possible we try to set a fixed fee for instructions so that you know in advance the cost of our professional services. Our service and commitment to our clients is above the average and we strive for continual improvement.

Principal

Southern Legal is under the practice directorship of Harry Couchman B.A., LlB(Hons), Grad. Dip. Comm., Grad. Dip Legal Ptce. Harry is a solicitor and barrister on the Roll of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. He is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and Australian Lawyers for Human Rights..
